Webinar Frequently Asked Questions
Sounds great, but I have never been to a webinar - how does it work?
Webinars are simply a combination of a teleconference and a visual presentation you view while on the internet. All you need is a computer with a mic and an internet connection with a bandwidth of 150kps. Please note that if the webinar would need to switch to a conference call via cell or landline, you will incur standard charges for your phone usage through your service provider. On the day of the webinar, you simply click on the link provided in your invitation email. You will be able to see the Power Point through your computer, and speak to the presenter and other participants through your computer mic.
I want our school/organization to take the class together, can we schedule a private webinar?
Yes you can! If you prefer your own webinar at your own time, contact SOS by email or call 937-371-9923.
Do I get training certificates?
You will be sent certificates for non-CPE courses via email. The certificates will have the presenters credentials as well as an outline and learning objectives that can be submitted by participants to training departments. CPE' certificates will have a numeric code from Ohio's credentialing board and will be mailed via USPS (a training evaluation must also be submitted by participants to receive certificate.)
