"Speaking from your heart about your experience as a sexual abuse survivor was very powerful. Your insight gave us a better understanding of the feelings a child might experience.  This helps our volunteers when they are advocating for the child's best interest.  As you will notice by the evaluations, We LOVED you!  We will continue to spread the word among our colleagues about your skills, strengths and passions."

" One of the challenges in working with juveniles who have sexual behavior problems is to help them develop victim empathy. Your presentation definitely helped with this process.  Through the creative use of your shoes, the boys were able to empathize with you as a victim.  They also saw you as a healthy adult and realized that with strength and effort, they could also overcome the effects of their past traumas. I think they enjoyed the group so much they forgot it was about their treatment.
